Heartwarming film about families

First the movie is not rated R. This is a heartwarming look at the normal family of America. The movie is realistic. Johnny and Leo do a great job as brothers. The mom is overweight and hasn't left the house for 17 years. A great story that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. A real tear gerker. A great movie for the weekend to sit down and enjoy.

Wonderful musical version

I saw Phantom live in the London theater which was awesome. This version with Gerard, Emmy and Patrick was terrific. Who knew Gerard could sing? He was very good and did justice to this musical. You are drawn in from the very beginning and it never lets you go. It has an interesting new spin with the additional flashforwards showing them older. The ending with the rose on her grave by the phantom was beautiful. The sets were amazing. If you love musicals you will love this movie. If you don't like musicals, I think you would even enjoy this one.

Heartwarming comdey/romance movie

Gerard and Hillary did an excellent job. I loved this movie. I cried at the end. The story was well thought out. I was hooked from the beginning but when the story of the letters started I was inthralled. I'm not much for romance movies but this one was great and not boring at all. Kathy Bates was awesome but I wish her character of the mom was used more in the story. I've never read the book but I never compare the book to a movie version. They are both different mediums and what works in a book doesn't always work for a movie. This movie would be great for a nice afternoon watching when you just want to see a good movie and relax. I watched it on blu ray and it looks great.

Movie of unknown story

The movie was so disjointed it was hard to keep up. It didn't have a concise storyline. None of the stories came together to form a complete movie. Keira did well acting and I enjoyed seeing James but it didn't save this movie. I am dumbfounded as to how this movie got so many nominations??? It was horrible. I am so glad I waited to see it on dvd and didn't waste my money at the theaters. It is not a keeper.

It's a steal

It is great to have Pirates back for two more movies. This second one brings us a little bit of background on Captain Jack Sparrow and how he got to where he is. We are introduced to Davy Jones, the scurge of the seas played by the wonderful Bill Nighy. Johnny has no problem getting back into Jack's boots. Orlando does a great job as well. It was nice to see more of the ex-Commodore Norringion played by Jack Davenport. He did a fine job. I always love the dual relationship between Jack and Gibbs (played by Kevin). Kevin is an excellent actor and it is a joy to see more of him. The blu ray dvd is a must for any Pirates fan.

Johnny does it again PERFECT

The end of the Pirate trilogy delivers perfectly. All the questions are answered in this last movie. We find out the background story of Davy Jones. Jack is a changed man and wants to live forever. Johnny plays Jack up a few notches but does it so elequoently. Look for the winks that give honor to the first movie. The blu ray dvd is a must!!

Multi Story Fun

This may not be for everyone. It has many stories but they all are connected beautifully. It is an art form. The acting is great. I love Bruce, Jessica, Rosario and Clive. They do a great job. I wonder how the sequels will do. This one was so artful and skillful at meshing many stories into one perfectly. It is a bit violent so if you have a problem with that this isn't for you.

Great action flick

Bruce and Milla did a wonderful job on this movie. The action was so cool. The blu-ray dvd is a must! The story is realistic and futuristic. You start on the journey and the movie just takes you away on this great adventure. The aliens are a little weird. The special and visual effects are amazing.

Kid friendly

Jerry is so funny in this movie. My 5 year old niece loved this movie. She lauged all the way through the movie. She didn't seem to have any problems understanding what was going on. My 8 year old nephew liked the movie as well. I think kids of all ages will enjoy this movie. It is well written with a great and entertaining storyline. We already have the DVD and my 5 year old niece has watched it more then 7 times already. It is worth the money to buy the DVD. Kids will love this movie. Adults will also get a kick out of this movie.

Hannah Montana Rocks

The title is what my 8 year old nephew says about Hannah Montana. The 3D version of her concert was very exciting. I think it was a cool idea to make this movie especially with the horrible outcome of the tickets for the live concert. All the kids were dancing and screaming throughout the entire movie. My 5 year old niece was singing along. I even liked Hannah. My parents who are 60 even enjoyed the movie. I'm not sure it was worth the $15 a ticket to see the movie. Overall, it was a great ride and my nephew is already begging for the DVD. I will get it as soon as it comes out. Anyone who has young fans should definetly get the DVD. It is a lot of fun.
