Nice sequel first was better

I really enjoyed this movie. It does have several spots were you wonder why the character is taking so long to do a simple task. The movie could have been told in less time. There were many extra scenes that stopped the flow of the movie. The CGI is excellent and the storyline is pretty sound. It is a bit more violent then the first one. The battle scenes are interesting and fun and scary. I think little kids under 10 may find it a bit overwhelming. A few young kids were scared in the theater while watching the movie. Overall, this movie is really good and I did enjoy myself. I look forward to the next one. Georgie, Skandar, Anna and William did a superb job!! These are incredible kids. I think adults would enjoy this movie along with older kids.

BORED AND DISAPPOINTED

I was so looking forward to seeing this movie. I was so disappointed. I felt nothing for the character played by Downey. I thought he was boring and uninteresting. The only ones I enjoyed were the soldiers in the vehicle with him and they die in less then 3 minutes and I was upset about that. It dragged on and on and on and on and on. The CGI was really good so I gave it a two star. Bridges character was more interesting then Downey but it still left me with nothing to draw me into the movie. I was falling asleep in my chair nearly dropping my pretzel. If you are a die hard fan of Iron Man you would probably still like this movie. I would suggest renting this one instead of wasting your money at the theater. It really didn't have enough to warrant a big screen theater. It would do nicely at home.

It goes on and on and on............

I think the only saving grace for this movie was from Ricci. If you like watching cars race for a very long time, as in the majority of the way too long movie, you'll love it. The story could have been told in 1 hour and 30 minutes instead of the 2 hours and 15 minutes. It was boring. I thought the pod racing in Star Wars 1 was bad. I was wrong. This movie beats the boring factor and endless repetitiveness of Star Wars's 1 pod race. If you really want to see it then wait for the DVD so you can fast foward through the racing bits. Then you may enjoy it more.

Cool movie must see

Ron does his best work under makeup and posthetics. It delviers chills and coolness all at the same time. I can't wait for the sequel. The storyline is great and easy to follow. No boring parts in this movie! Check out the DVD before you go see the sequel just to get up to date on the entire story.

An okay scary movie

The movie was predictable. Kate and Luke did good jobs trying to make you feel scared but the storyline just didn't have it in it. I didn't feel the scare. I think this would be a great DVD chick flick. The girls will enjoy themselves with thier special someone with this movie. Those looking to be scared out of thier seat, don't bother, you'll hate it.

Not what I expected

Wow, I thought this movie would be great with all the hype about it. I wasn't impressed by Ellen Page at all. Her performance was not that great. I've seen much better. I didn't expect it to be so crude and vulgar. I can't believe what comes out of the main character, Juno's mouth. I would put this movie in the R category! Otherwise, the storyline was okay but it got slow in a lot of spots. I was like, ok let's get going with something, I got bored in many areas. Jason and Jennifer's performance was also very weak. I just didn't feel anything for the characters. I am glad I waited to see this on DVD. It would have been a waste of money to see it in theaters. I do not recommend this movie.

Great fun for the entire family

Johnny, Freddie and Helena are superb in this movie. The story is closer to the book then the movie with Wilder. Johnny puts a fresh look to the character of Willy Wonker. The kids will love this movie. The storyline works and is very funny. It has a great ending that will leave everyone happy. A perfect family movie.

Scary yet also funny

Johnny once again shows his stuff. The plot and storyline are perfect. Johnny does a great Ichabod Crane. The movie has an interesting twist to the mythology of the Headless Horsemen. The movie is full of great actors that all work together to make a great movie. This is not for the faint hearted. Heads get chopped off and you see everything. A great thriller, suspense and comedy all in one.

Great comedy

Johnny is a funny and hilarous as he tries to play a Buster Keaton look-a-like. The movie is so funny and serious at the same time. It is all about family and what taking in a complete stranger can do to strengthen the family unit. The movie is entertaining and will keep you engaged all throughout. The plot and storyline are solid. This is a great movie to take home and watch with your special someone,

Great educational movie

Johnny and Kate narrate this wonderful movie about sea life. It is beautiful and educational. I think children of all ages will love this movie. It is a great movie to show to children to teach them about the sea and how to preserve what is left of our beautiful earth.
