I thought this would be a funny movie. I was sorely surprised. Yes, there was some hilarious parts to the movie. BUT, there is oral sex from a grandma to Carrey's character. This is not a PG-13 movie, I would put it at an R rating. Kids should NOT see this movie. It is immoral to say the least. Forget about storylines or flow when there is nudity and sex that is very inappropriate. I do not recommend this movie to anyone.
This is a very good movie. I just love Hugh Jackman. He is a superb actor and shows his stuff with this movie once again. The scenery was awesome and so beautiful. I think they should get an award just for the scenery of the movie. The storyline is also good and solid. The only problems with the movie is the length. It is very long. Quite a few had to leave the theatre to go to the restroom because of the length. They came back to enjoy the rest of the movie. I highly recommend this movie but be prepared for a long sit down. You will not be disappointed.
The movie showed a unique life of the labador retriever. The movie starts out really cute. You watch the antics of Marley. It is funny till the end. It is very sad and can be upsetting to young children. This movie has been directed to kids but I don't believe kids should see this movie. If you love dogs and really want to see the movie go ahead but be prepared for a very sad ending. The acting by Jennifer and Owen was good and I enjoyed them. It was nice to see Owen making movies again. Feel the love of having a dog and this movie shows you just how active a labador can be. I do not recommend this movie for kids but it is okay for adults.
I thought at first the movie was about the start of oil drilling. It started out very entertaining and informative. Daniel showed he can act for the first 30 minutes. Then it got a bit foggy. I didn't believe him when he was angry or aloof. He just didn't pull it off. The baby showed up without any story as to how he got the baby. The mother was just swept under the covers. The church story just did not fit into the flow of the movie and just slowed it down. I didn't even finish the movie it was so long and boring. I have no idea why this movie got so much award nominations.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was scary and entertaining. A few parts were a bit predictable but even they were scary. Liv was fabulous and did a fine job sustaining the terror. The terror lasted a long time. The noises keep you in your seat terrified. The whole story was easy to follow. I was never bored. You should rent this DVD. It would make a great date movie.
This movie was awful!!! It makes no sense whatsoever. I was bored throughout the entire movie. Keanu was terrible. He just layed there and starred. A very lackluster performance. There is no real flow or story. The entire movie contradicts itself at every turn. Do not waste your hard earned money on this movie.
The Saw series is ruined forever. They should have stopped at number 2. It went downhill pretty much after that but I keep hoping they will do a sequel half worthy of the first. I am still waiting. This version is just a mess. The acting is mediocre. The story falls short and there is no flow to the movie. Don't waste your money if you are a Saw fan, you will be mortified. If you are looking for blind gore then by all means enjoy yourself.
This movie was good. It wasn't boring. There was a lot of action. Charlize was great. I always love her work. Will was a bit less then convincing. He just didn't make you feel like his character didn't care about what he did. It made the story of him changing to do good less believeable. Overall, the story was good and I did enjoy the movie. The general flow of the movie keeps you interested and involved. This would be a good movie to sit down on a Friday night with the friends. I wouldn't let kids see this movie as the language was a bit much. Kids, in the movie, were rude, obnoxious and cursed. They are not good role models for other kids to see.
This was an interesting movie. Banner is looking for a cure. The military want to use the Hulk as a weapon. The movie has heart, conflict and tons of action. I was grossed out over the blood in the packaged soda and I may not eat or drink processed foods again. Stan Lee is the character that gets the tainted bottle. You got to love him. He knows what he is doing. The ending was a bit far fetched and a bit cheesy which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. This is a fun movie to watch on a Saturday night with your best buddies.
This movie was well acted and well written. It gives a bit of history of our space program and just how much our astronauts risked to get us where we are today. The movie is very accurate with some upgrades to make it interesting. A great movie to watch with school age kids who are learning about our space program. Or just for those who are interested in the space program. A well done piece that brings hope to everyone.
