One of the Best Pirate Films cept the 1st

I loved this movie. It was soooo good. I've seen it 5 times already!!! This is so simple and classic just like the first Pirates movie. There is nothing you have to figure out or stories that are left hanging that need answers. Johnny does a superb job as ever. It was nice to see him and Angelica (Cruz) banter toghether, it is priceless. The movie is so smooth before you know it it is over and you want more. The storyline is flawless. Worth the money to see it in IMAX, just very loud. My 8 year old autistic niece was laughing and having a great time. My 11 year old nephew loved it as well. A movie for the entire famyjily. I hightly recommend seeing this film. It is better than the second and third films. I was so inthralled I forgot I had twizzlers to eat! Go to the earlier shows to beat out the crowds. The fight scenes are totally cool and impressive. Go see this movie, mateys!

Wonderful adventure film

This is a great movie! The special effects are out of this world. The storyline flows evenly and beautifully. Cameron did a good job on this one as did all the actors playing dead on perfect. It is enjoyable and you root for the good guys but feel for the bad guys even if they are not well liked. The characters make you feel which ia the goal of a good movie. There are intense scenes that some younger viewers may get scared but the rest of the film will have them glued to the seat. My 7 year old loves this film! As far as the added on scenes, some were very beautiful and fulfilling. One scene could have been left out as it did not add to the film but had you trying to figure things out. I would and have gone back to see this movie again in theaters. It is worth it!!

Really good movie if u give a chance

I went to this movie with a clear mind never seeing the cartoons. I found the story to be a bit young but pretty good. The story was created brand new out of the characters and world of the cartoon. Stop comparing it. This is a good movie and worth seeing. I enjoyed it and was glued to the screen. Everyone knows the movie is never the same as the book or wherever it is inspired from. I give this movie a thumbs up! Go see it!

Good movie

The movie starts out slow but picks up after about 10 minutes or so. The story is a little hard to figure out in the beginning but give it time. The story folds out over the course of the movie and will give you an enjoyable ride. Will Smith oudid himself once again. I would recommend this movie. It is worth the time and money.

Good movie

This is a good mythical fantasy movie with a few twists. It has a good story about friendship. Children ages 8 and up will even enjoy this movie. It is magical and fun. A ride that you will enjoy. The length is not so bad. The flow of the movie keeps you entertained.

Ok movie if nothing else to do

The typical movie about the drunk dad and kid that takes care of everything story. Just add a pinch of original storyline about voting and bribes and you have this movie. The young girl actress was astonishing and I hope to see her in more movies. Kevin did a fine job. I felt the movie was a little long in the tooth and a few spots could have been cut. A good rental for some night when you don't have anything else to do.

Kid friendly movie

This is a great movie to take your kids to. It is heartwarming and loveable. I would hope this movie can get the word out about all the homeless and abused animals out there that need a home. It has a very happy ending that everyone will enjoy. It may not be based fully on real life but I would let it pass. The movie is entertaining, funny and inventive. Besides a few doggie dropping jokes it is a very clean movie for all ages of kids. Lisa Kudrow did not seem all that happy to be in the movie. Her acting was lackluster to say the least. Thankfully all the young actors did a great job and the dogs really are the movie. I recommend this movie to all. It is well worth the money.

Fun Entertaining Movie

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. All the actors did a fine job and were very funny. Steve did a wonderful job taking over as Smart. He was near perfect. I was never bored and the flow of the movie keeps you interested throughout.

Samuel did a fine job in this movie. It hits right on the money about racisim and that it covers all races and not just white people or a specific type of person. The movie pulls off a terrifying experience. You will not be bored. Well worth the money. Go and rent the movie when it comes out or try to find the cheaper movie theaters.

Entertaining Doc

This documentary was well done and executed perfectly. Johnny Depp narrating throughout was a good choice. All the interviews really showed how much Hunter was loved by everyone. It is a good story on how a person can really do harm to themselves with constant drug and alcohol abuse. I do not consider suicide a good way out of your troubles. The documentary did not focus on the aspect of his suicide but how he lived. I recommend this doctumentary to everyone.
