I always attend the superhero type movies with a sense that I'm going along for the family's benefit. If I was going to the movies for myself, I'd pick another type of film. This time I was pleasantly surprised. My 13 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed Iron Man. I would not however suggest it for a younger child, and not just because of the poor morals suggested by Mr. Stark's lifestyle. The family next to us had three squirming boys ranging from a three year old [who eventually fell asleep] to a seven year old. For the little guys the movie was a little to long. I found Ironman to be intelligently written, amusing, and interesting. The two hours flew by, and I left thinking of several friends I wanted to encourage to go see it. We has a blast!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
