Not for the little ones

I really enjoyed the film as did our friends. Some of us had read the books and some had not and all enjoyed this film. However, it opens with a torture (and death) scene which was a bit much for the childern seated directly behind us. The kiddies went on to ask a ton of (loud) questions during the film. There are some very dark scenes and some complex plot and dialogue stretches in this film which, in my opinion, are just not suitable for younger viewers. the film was well paced and very artful. Leave the kids at home and let the rest of us enjoy this film. I am very much looking forward to the final installment.
It was a waste to pre-select our IMAX seats because the theater staff were letting people sit wherever they wanted. What is the point of assigned seats when the staff ignore the assignments???
Yes, I recommend this movie.
