Too long.....and disappointing

While I like the new Batman series and I loved to watch it on IMAX, I have to say that the movie has some flaws. They're really pushing it on hype. First of all, it was too long. Two and a half hours was too much. There was definity at least a half hour they could have cut from it. Second, Legder was good and he had a few good moments, but overall, I was expecting something much greater(say like Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) and was disappointed.
Third, the dialogue between characters just seemed like they were running down their lines with each other - wasn't believeable. And last, I was disappointed that the movie wasn't more about Bale - this man has tremendous, inate acting ability and it wasn't tapped as much as it should have been. He shined more in Batman begins.
What happened to the Joker? Did he get killed, or did he get away? I couldn't figure it out........ won't see this movie twice.
One positive note ....the scenes of the city (especially on IMAX) were gorgeous! As usual, Hollywood is the master at special effects!
