With all the summer blockbusters, it's great to see a well written and well performed romantic comedy. Excellent performances by the stars, with a great supporting cast.
The comic play of George Takei and the Star Trek presentation may be overlooked, but worthy of note, as are a lot of other subtle moments in the movie. Empty your bladder in advance, as there isn't much that you'll want to miss. It's a good movie with a lot of humor.
Pizza delivery guy is another great moment and a reminder that life has its own way of making things right.
It does take a few minutes to really get the humor, but it comes on strong and hangs in till the end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I read some prerelease reviews saying too much religion, but having followed the aftermath for real, it was actually played down. Excellent story and great acting of real life. Inspiring and gorgeous scenery on to of all the technical stuff. Highly recommended!

What's not to like?

When I go to the movies, it's to be entertained. It's even better when my wife doesn't act bored. This one hit the spot. A really good couple of hours of action/fantasy/comedy with some critical twists and turns. It was a couple of hours of getting away from it all and coming out feeling good. Also, Anything with Monica Bellucci (The Passion and Matrix series) in it is worth watching.

Good for a solid laugh. Everyone does a great job at who they plan AND it makes a refreshing time out. One F bomb, but otherwise good on the language front.

Seen it twice

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a screening of this movie. I decided to take my best friend for his birthday. I can't wait to get my daughter to go too. My family is not made of blood, and this movie touched me to the core. Excellent witness to what we can do if we don't care what other people think about us doing the right thing.

There are funny parts. There are good parts, but overall the movie drags and lacks. Nowhere near as good as 27 Dresses (or Iron Man for that matter).
