As a fan of the original Star Trek series I throughly enjoyed this movie. I found the stories behind the stories entertaining and I was smiling at times. Very cool.

I was a bit upset about sitting in the front row but there was a reason why Gran Torino was so packed. It was total Clint, they way you want to see him, the whole package.

First of all, I am a big, big fan of the original. One of the greatest Sci Fi trivia questions comes from the original, "what were the words that saved the world". Part of me was pleased that they weren't in the remake and part of me was disappointed. I did enjoy most of this movie, but was let down towards the end and felt that the general premise of The Day wasn't emphasized enough.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
