Okay, I brought my own nachos to this movie because I knew it was going to be cheesy....but wow...what a way to ruin a great movie series. I never had great expectations on this movie because, very few #4's ever really make it memorable. The stories of Indy's past movies were mostly mythical/biblical or interesting.....the story for this movie is, well, boring. The actors walked through this movie without really any care. Harrison Ford is well, the only thing that is almost tolerable. I was happy that they kept the meds going enough so Karen Allen could participate in the only memorable role of her career and last but not least.....Shaia Lebrouf...Labon...whoever.....next generation action guy....yeah...I know .....I know.....anyways, he's just annoying. There are no big twists or turns in this cash cow of a movie....oh, it will make millions.....but so did the Matrix trilogy and they were bad too. I won't ruin the movie for anyone, but Lucas who gave birth to one of the best franchise of the world and the one that killed it, should not be given a script or any voice in the movie industry. Retire sir, please. You killed my childhood with your 'new,' versions of 'Star Wars,' and you killed the last story of Indiana Jones. Mr. Spielberg, I will forgive you this time, but, I hope we don't see another forced film of just bad story telling like this again. There are several glimpses in the movie that one will recognize, but then are overshadowed by the rest of the story. I know you'll go see it, and then you might actually come back to this site and reread the reviews....maybe even this one and say to yourself......Darn you.....Darn you for being right!
