My family and I took my wife to see this for her birthday over the weekend. Our kids are 9 & 16 and both absolutely loved the film. There is humor for the whole family, including asides for the adults, without getting vulgar.
My daugther especially loved the Pink Berets and I have a feeling we'll be buying some if they make a plush of them.
My son loved the silly humor (think jellybeans when you watch the movie, and you'll know what I'm talking about).
All in all well worth the money, and blessedly NOT in 3-D!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My kids and I went to one of the midnight showings, and couldn't have been more thrilled. Out of all the movies, they saved the best for last. It was the perfect blend of movie adaptation and faithfulness to the books.
We cannot wait until this summer!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Toy Story 3 brings the series full circle, and is a wonderful, if bittersweet, conclusion to the story.
Kids that are new to the series will like this one, there's plenty of action and humor to keep the little ones in their seats.
As for those of us that grew up with the Toy Story movies? Well, bring a few kleenex! If you don't tear up at at least one point in this movie, you're made of tougher stuff than me.
There are several poignant scenes in the film, and wonderful call backs to the previous two features.
As for the 3D...it wasn't eye popping, "in your face", type of effects. It added more depth to the picture and made it seem more "real". I don't think that this film would lose anything if you saw it in 2D only.
Bring the kids, bring the kleenex, and everyone should go home happy!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
