Really good movie for the kids

I was skeptical at first because it seemed like more of a dark cartoon with the meanness of Gru the main character and his mission to steal things, but it turned out to be really good and had good life lessons for the kids plus it was really cute and we had lots of laughs!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I liked the movie I read the books which are a lot more elaborate so I am in favor of the book over the movie but If you liked New Moon or Twilight you will definitely like this movie. It is a lot more action packed with amatuer romance.

Great for all ages!

I thought the movie was great for kids of all ages. They were smart to cast Vanessa Hudgens in this movie bc she is the only reason my 8 yr old wanted to see the movie. Surprisingly she was not a lead character which was fine. Nice to experience a lot of young and up and coming actors but on a magnificent musical performance. I was glad to finally see not a lot of making out and bad language between the friends, conflict is ok but not profanity. The story line was building up to a some what surprise about Will in the end but other than that was just a good wholesome Tween movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
