The greatest Batman movie to date; Heath deserves his praise! We've all waited since Batman turned over the Joker card at the end of Batman Begins to see the best villain in the comic book series and it was well worth the wait. Heath has set the bar for whichever actor attempts to play the role of the Joker in any Batman production. You will not get enough of his presences during the movie. It’s as if you always knew this was how the psychotic nemesis of The Dark Knight was to be performed and you do not want it to end. The death of Heath has added an extra element to the role making you conscious of the fact this is the last character he will ever portray which amplifies your love and wanting of adulation from his peers. The Oscar is a funny topic, because Superhero movies are never looked on seriously for lead roles. But this is different. The contribution he made to the industry with this role and to this franchise is now embedded in the essence of the villain we love. He has taken a character and made it his own. Just as Reeve’s was Superman, Heath Ledger is now The Joker.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
