I was expecting the low budget and cheesy special effects so that wasn't terrible. In fact, I think that for their budged they did well. Kristen Stewart was pretty good in her role. That's about it for true to the book. I was very disapointed at Robert Pattinson's lack of facial expressions. I think that the ridiculous make up on all the vampires was too much and took the movie in a different direction. The movie flows well but they rushed a couple of the most crucial moments in the book. So, once I got past that, I thought the movie was pretty good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best Batman movie so far!!

I am a huge fan of the Batman franchise and I am happy to say that this movie lived up to the hipe and even raised the bar not only with the special effects and action sequences but the quality of acting involved (Mr. Ledger as the best Joker ever and Mr. Bale as my favorite Batman so far) is only perfected by an amazing script. This movie has really destroyed the stereotype of the super hero movie and it has created something different. I recommend it to everyone because this movie is truly great!!!
