Iron Man Is A HIT!

"Iron Man" is a comic book movie for adults about an adult. Robert Downey, Jr., is the perfect choice to play the playboy genius/weapons manufacturer Tony Stark who is suddenly confronted by the consequnces of his lifelong vocation. Surrounded by quality actors Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrance Howard, this is a well-crafted but fun movie that milks Downey's and director Job Favreau's sense of sense of gravity and yet also a sense of fun. Comic book geeks are well-served with hints of what to look forward to in sequels (and as others have noted, STAY THROUGH THE CREDITS!). Family-safe, though be aware of intense, though ungory war images.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
