Offensive, disgusting, crude, if that is your idea of fun, then by all means check out this film. The ONLY possitive thing about this film was the acting of the young actresses, and even then I cannot believe that their parents would look at this script and encourage their KIDS to be a part of it, yea, there is some responsible parenting!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe

Very refreshing to finally see a film that doesn't rely on special effects or explosions and fights. As a fan of the series, the film does an excellent job of catching you up with the characters and their lives since the show went off the air, and wil not leave you disappointed. If you never watched the series, the movie does a good job as a stand alone mystery/thriller.
The only negative I have is that there is a sense throughout the film that the producers are holding back and trying to contain themselves, in order to appeal to the non-fans of the series. This story begs to "break out", but the producers and director sit on it. Perhaps now they have established the charactors for the non-fans of the series they can "break out" if/when there is a follow up.
Very nice little tip of the hat to the fans of the series appears at the VERY END of the roll of credits.
