A great mock-up of Superhero movies and modern mythology. Its funny when it wants to be, and dramatic when it needs to be. Never flinches away from the violence, which works for the darker comedy, but also to remind you that there are real-world consequences to the proposed vigilante justice of this story.
It was just a blast all-around. A fun experience for casual movie-goers, and a mind-blowingly fun time for comics fans.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Watering down the excitement, and cutting the Transformers out of their own film, are numerous useless asides. There's a TON of useless humor, directed at a Jr. High crowd, it just doesn't work for adults.
Rather than build upon the strengths of the first movie, it falls into the same traps and comes out a weaker film.
Eating screentime are Skids and Muflap, two Ghetto caricatures with monkey features, constantly spouting foul, flat jokes and beating each other up like Tom and Jerry from "da hood". We've met the Jar Jar Binks of the Transformers world, thank you. The fact that these two get more screen time than Optimus, Bumblebee or any other interesting Autobot is criminal.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Pretty solid, all around. While I liked some elements of the first Hulk movie, I'm first to admit it was disappointing. This one makes up for many of the flaws in regards to action, and has a much more fleshed out story than trailers would have you believe.
Its not as epic as the first movie (which the excellent opening sequence picks the good bits out of and asks you to forget the bad) but the more personal story in this one makes for a much better launching point for the franchise, and in many ways is what the first Hulk should have been.
Also, cameo from another Marvel star makes this part of the Marvel Universe cross-over series, which is very exciting.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
