The movie characters were interesting, but the dialogue between Chili and Ginger as well as between Jasmine and Ginger was extremely repetitive. Considering the excessive repetitive dialogue, the movie could have easily been trimmed down to one hour. Cate Blanchett was excellent as the cinematic version of a Ruth Madoff. Alec Baldwin was perfectly cast for the role of Hal.

A delightful movie that evokes an emotional response from the audience. The visuals were exceptional. Ben Kingsley was phenomenal and the rest of the cast performed well. Viewing this movie in 3D made it even more of a treat. Martin Scorsese enters a new realm of movie making with this great film and story. A true treat for the holiday.

Good movie with excellent acting. The plot became predictable two-thirds into the movie which caused it to move slowly. The basis of the the story line about "fusion energy" was unrealistic and pushed the movie to the edge of unbelievability. The "buzz" on the movie was "over promised and under delivered." Overall, a good movie that could have been better.
