As an avid comic reader and comic book show watcher, I would have to say they brought it home with that one. Kept to the original story line, picked the right actors for the parts (I was surpised by R.D.J, but he makes a wonder Tony Stark.
The story was a little slow for some, but in my opinion many comic based movies, gloss over the finer details too much, and sometimes leave non comic book readers oblivious to the intricacies of the the characters, that took year to develop in the original comics.
