What a great twist that works!

Okay, I am an avid Star Trek fan who has seen this movie every opening night. This was a bit different as I know JJ Abrams sometimes goes a little wild and I was worried what he was going to do with the prequal. He made it work... he really did. This takes a twist that opens a door to a whole new Star Trek and I like where it goes. It is not crazy edgy like the New Battlestar Galactica (though I kind of like it to some point... though a little too dark for my taste), but it is fresh and really opens a door that we the fans will support and encourage JJ Abrams to expand. Fantastic and worth a an opening night viewing (this is my personal highest rating)!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
