I used to love the old movies. This animated junk that they are passing off as entertainment is just a joke. The plot is terrible. And the turtles don't have nearly as much personality as in the original movies. Skip this one!
Johnny Depp is a great actor. But he needs to stay away from musicals from this point forth. This movie was never meant to be on film. If they wanted it to be better, they needed some people that can sing. Instead, they went the route that sells tickets. I pretty much hated this movie.
As far as 3-D goes, this one tops 'em all. But as far as animated movies go, this one was just average. I don't know what I expected, but I know it was more than just a naked dude with a death wish.
This movie is one of the most visually stimulating pieces of art ever made. It lacks the plot that its predecessors had (Hero, Flying Daggers), but lives up to the entertainment value.
This movie sticks to what works. It is better than the second, but fails to be as funny as the first. If you liked the others, you will like this one. You have to see the others first in order to understand it!
I didn't expect much out of this flick. But it actually grabbed my attention. The acting was great and the plot was fairly believable. I really enjoyed the atmosphere that this one creates. This movie isn't for everyone, but to some it is great.
I thought this was going to be made by the makers of Sin City. Why are there so many writers? Who is the director? This wasn't a bad movie. It is really lacking that gritty edge that Sin City had. But overall it was pretty good.
I liked the plot. I like most of the acting (lead female was a little boring). I liked the directing. I just kept wishing for more to happen throughout the movie. I found the ending to be predictable. Bottom line: this movie is missing something that I can't pinpoint.
This movie was just too drab for me. With two actors of this caliber, one cannot help but ask themselves why they chose to be in this movie. I would expect second rate actors to make a second rate movie. Don't kid yourself Pacino and De Niro, you just made a 50 Cent movie!
With such a high approval rating I had to see it. But this movie wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It was not a comedy at all, as stated by the genre located to your left. But it was very entertaining and interesting. I liked it, I just like there to be more than a few chuckles in my comedies. This was definitely a great drama, but a lousy laugh festival.
