This movie reminded me of the Big Lebowski. It wasn't nearly as classic, but the same kind of humor. The general public criticizes its lack of slapstick humor, but for me, that was its strength. Overall I liked it, but it was a little watered down for my taste.
I was incredibly bored with "B" acting, and an even worse script. The action was just ok, but not good enough to even be a 2 star flick. I was so bored, I actually prayed that the people I was with would ask me if I wanted to leave.
This one follows the same old Perry formula. But when the formula is as good as this, you can't go wrong. This one may be rated PG-13, but it is good for everyone. Keep it up Perry!
I liked the fact that this was BASED on a true story. But I am quite tired of the loud noise scare tactic. This movie over plays the "boo" factor. Not bad for a rental!
I liked the movie so much, that I went back and checked out the 3D version. After seeing several movies in the last year in 3D, this one takes the cake! This movie is so funny, and the 3D makes it unforgettable. If you go see it, I recommend the 3D version! Well worth the money.
If you liked The Incredibles, you will like this one. It doesn't have the same kind of zing, but it was unique in its own way. This one really lets you relax and just enjoy the show. This movie is a complete reality vacation. Well done Dreamworks!
I just felt like I had seen it before. The whole thing just seemed very redundant. Every twist and turn seemed like a predictable string of bland poorly scripted nothing. Julia Roberts looks good, but she has seen better acting days.
This movie felt very bland. I like a little more emotion in my dramas. I can see why Winslet won an Oscar for her performance, even if she was naked during her entire performance. Well done, just not for me.
