I was really surprised by how this movie turned out after the craptastic first film. It really surprised me. The trailers looked pretty decent, but I wasn't expecting it to love this movie as much as I did. If you've ever loved GI Joe than this is the movie for you.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

Insidious will definitely scare you at some points. There is no doubt about that. Unfortunately the movie also wound up being kind of cheesy. The music they added in to the film I feel hurt the movie more then helped. I probably would have given it 4 stars had if it didn't have a cheesy soundtrack.
The other issue with the film comes closer to the end. When you finally start to see things they become less scary. Less is usually more.
It had just enough humor to cut down on some of the tension you feel throughout the film. All in all I'd say it was a good film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good film bad dub

Gantz wound up being pretty decent. It did a good job recreating the world of the manga and anime. The dub is the reason I give it 3 stars instead of 4. If it was Subbed it would have been a much better experience.
The Q&A afterwards with the Fathom experience wound up being really cool. It was a good way to see it, and I can't wait for the second part. Hopefully part 2 will be subbed.

Dear Lord I hope they do this again. Thi swas an awesome experience and its the way Rifftrax was meant to be seen.

Unexpected

I didn't expect this movie to be anywhere near as good as it was. Holy crap its the best comedy of the summer (including tropic thunder and pinapple express).
I'd say its Revenge of the Nerds combined with Mean Girls. Good times.
