Surprised...and I'm not a teenage girl

My wife read all the books and has been looking forward to this movie since she heard about it. Amid the packed theater of teenage girls we sat last night. The whooohooo of the girls was blasting at the opening credits and first images of some of the main characters.
However once the swooning stopped I settled in to watch a very well played out storyline that left me wanting to see a sequel.
The actors faced difficult roles in trying not to go over the top with bad acting as some vampire movies have in the past. However I feel that it was well acted and the pace of the film moved forward throughout.
I don't know if I would take the time to read the books, but I will definitely take time to see the movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

This was a movie reminicent of the first. Full of action and bad guys. From the first frame to the last this reminded me of the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
I enjoyed the wrap in of previous characters and movies that this one had and I don't want to write about the plot line in case the person reading it hasn't seen it.
It's worth watching that is for sure and entertaining. I personally thought some of the plot items were too far fetched even for an Indiana Jones movie, but if you're going to go out...go out big.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
