See this movie for its ridiculous plot, and middle aged humor. Not much of a theme nor deep thinking involved. Cute, sweet, laughable...not much else.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Theme of the movie was made, but not enough history of South Africa, not enough about Mandela. too much Rugby. What makes Eastwood movies great is character development. Too little of that in this movie. The "uniting" of the country by sport...? The way it is protrayed was not so convincing.....Not my favorite Eastwood movie. Missing the punch of his other films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Very dissappointed. Slow, boring and very poorly written. My son is 9 and LOVES the movies and simply was underwhelmed and fidgeted through the entire film and kept asking to leave.
I could not wait to leave....I saw no value or point to the movie either...he did not laugh once!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
