Great blast from the past and fun for kids today!

This movie was great! My husband and I took our 6 year old and we all loved it! The graphics were fantastic. The real life characters revealed the exact expressions of the cartoon characters which was hilarious--especially John Goodman as Pops. The decor of the set was totally kitsch. I want the wallpaper in their kitchen and bedrooms. The casting was amazing, especially spridle. Someone told me that there was no plot. This is NOT true. If you enjoyed speed racer as a kid, you'll love this movie. I wasn't a big fan as a kid, but it brought back great memories. The person who mentioned in their review that violence was so bad---I just don't get it. See the movie with your kids--a great family outing and a blast from the past!
