Familiar story with Incredible Effects

The effects and the 3D make this movie stunning to watch. I haven't said "Wow" so many times in a movie theatre in my life!
The story has been done before and the human characters are painfully dull, but the world that you see while they are in the jungle is incredible.
This movie wouldn't make my top 20 list, but I'm glad that I went to see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Obviously a bunch of stuff is left out, they can't make a 10 hour movie to include every single plot line from the book. Make your peace with that now or don't go and see the movies!
The movie looks great! It feels more like a real world than an imaginary one. The movie is also quite hilarious!
I do, however, hate the added scene with the attack on the Burrow. It was incredibly pointless other than to jam a little "action" into the story. I never really felt danger in the scene, and right after it they're back at Hogwarts saying, "Whew, that was close."
But all in all, this is my favorite so far, and I'll go back to see it again because even at 2 1/2 hours this movie flew by! I was shocked how fast it went.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
