I enjoyed the concept of the story but the 3D only gave it more depth (which I did enjoy) but lacking was the "coming right at you" moments. Was it a last minute 3D moive like Clash of the Titians? As I am expecting two or three more at least, hope too that Noah grows stronger. I hope the script gets better too for Nicola & Jackson (hey, Jasper!)- to see if they could bring more to depth to their characters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not yet a reader of the books (gasp!), but a lover of vamp love stories, I really enjoyed this movie and can't wait for the rest. I liked the flushing out of the other Cullen famly members and hope to learn more in the last two installments. The franchise is going strong and I really, really hope that Kristen can find it within her to show more than one face (Zoolander anyone?); she came so close to lively animation in her last scene that perhaps now that Bella has made up her mind, Kristen can finaly put some life into the roll. Bravo Taylor! Growing up and taking charge. Robert, as always, nailed the moody-broody, love sick, forever-is-a-long-time roll.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
