I was very disappointed with this movie. I expected lots of lead up as to how Robin Hood became who he was. The story was superficial and slow moving with lots of unnecessary fluff. It did appear from the ending and the teaser at the end that there will be a sequel. I hope it is better done. I should say something positive I suppose... the casting was wonderful.
Well acted and true to the Sherlock Holmes genre. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as the eccentric Sherlock Holmes with Jude Law as a believable helper. I would highly recommend this move be seen in theaters as it will loose something on rental. Great lead in for a sequel!!
The casting was wonderful and the storyline classic Tarantino. A mixture of graphic violence and humor that made for an extremely entertaining movie. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to laugh and detests what the third reich stood for.
I really enjoyed this film on many levels. It was historically fairly accurate and well written. Johnny Depp was mesmerizing as Dillinger. Some of the other cast members were downright scary. Christian Bale was severe as Purvis but had a small hint of humanity. J.Edgar Hoover was totally believable and a complete nut job. I would recommend this movie to people who enjoy action and a good story.
This was the best star trek movie I have seen. Having watched the series through all the variations this captured the essence of all the characters. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys action adventure/sci fi. My only thought was why they killed off a character's mother since she was alive in the previous movies. A must see.
This movie has a belly laugh quality missing in so many movies anymore. It was not just a "chick flick" in as much as the guys were rude, desperate and the main character woman was in control. My husband and I heartily recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedies. No children though, the language is pretty rough but fits with the characters.
Not exactly what I expected but still entertaining. It gave a glimpse of life after the X-Files for Mulder and Scully. The story was a bit convoluted but easy enough to follow if you paid close attention. They could have come up with a better story to finish the saga.
The characters were amazingly well developed, the filming was masterful and the story was true to the character. Maggie G was a poor choice for Rachel. She did not bring the same innocence and toughness to the character. Heath Ledger was a truly crazy and mesmerizing villain. Everyone should see this movie!!
