The animation was unreal. With 3D it actually felt like snow was falling around you. I brought my 7 and 3 yr old. Both had seen the reviews on the Disney Channel and really wanted to go. Both have seen several of the Harry Potter movies. I thought, it's a Disney movie w/Jim Carey, there will be humor and it won’t be too dark. Kids were frightened my 7 yr old more than the 3 as he understood more of what was happening. This is NOT a movie for younger children. Keep the little ones at home unless you want nightmares. Corpses, demon eyed horses, depiction of ignorance and want as freaky children that grow before your eyes, one turning into a promiscuous woman....I will stick to Disney's Mickey Mouse version of this classic for the kids!
