I liked the movie. A decent action film, however with that all movies should not be in "3D". This is the about the 5th movie I've seen in 3D and it was not good. The movie itself was okay although it lacked at times during the movie. It was also slow to get started. When I watch an action movie I want it to get started at least in the first 30minutes of the film. I don't want to wait an hour or so to get going. If I had to rate this film I would give it 2 1/2 stars.........
I sat through this movie thinking I was going see a live action flick. Now I will say that the film did have color. I liked the storyline, but this is a movie that probably should have gone to straight to DVD. A good movie to watch at home on a big screen television, but a waste of money at the theatre.
I'm not a big Cameron Diaz fan, but she really looked good in this movie. She and Ashton really had great chemistry on screen which made the movie really enjoyable. I liked the storyline and I liked the comedy. It wasn't too thick in comedy and it wasn't too thick in sappy love. A good date movie.
I I thought the movie was sorta funny, but it did lack a little to the love story part. I didn't like that Dracula song. I think it should have been left out of the movie. Kristen Bell was good as the bad girlfriend. The guy who played her boyfriend should have probvably been played by someone else. Notice I said the guy who played the part, not his name since his character was weak.
I liked this movie, because it reminded me of the old classic martial arts films. There was a slow period in the movie, but the action and fantasy type scenes made up for the down time. Jet Li and Jackie Chan in the same movie together was priceless. I would have liked to see the white haired witch's character evolved a little bit more than it was. Can't wait for the DVD.
