Edge of Your Seat Action

Although this movie gave me plenty of "Oh God" moments due to the weak, lacking, stretched-to-the limit storyline the action kept me on the edge of my seat right to the end. You cannot go to this movie expecting greatness but you can go expecting a film cram packed with action that is AWESOME! I would definitely recommend going for the excitment this movie creates.

The theater was, almost, empty when I saw this movie and it should NOT have been. This movie is funny; great cast, great linesand you leave it feeling good. I hope this weekend people get out and go see it. I laughed and then I cried and then laughed some more. This movie will hit home at some point for everyone, no I will not say anymore, just go see it!!!

What the.........??

I will have to admit I am a very simple movie watcher. I go to see a movie I expect entertainment, in just about whatever form it comes in, i.e.: comedy, romance, animation, sci fi, etc. I went to this movie not knowing what I was getting into other than what the trailers show-comedy. I really thought this movie was going to be funny in it's entirety. Holy crap was I wrong. When I started saying, "What the heck is going on?" I can't say I liked it or hated it................I'm dumbfounded. The movie just threw me for a loop. I would recommend, if you have to go see it, proceed with caution. This movie is not what you think. It did make me laugh but it was crazy bad, also. That's all I'm saying about it, I am still wondering-what the?

Let the Mummies rest already! God forbid they try to resurrect mummies in another country after this....the mummies themselves may go after the producers of the movie itself. This movie was full of poor acting, poor script lines, bad timing, and bad everything. This movie would not even make my wait until it comes to HBO list. Just do yourself a favor and wait until it comes to analog bring-it-in on your TV aerial antennae. Brendan Frasier is not old enough to play a Dad role for this movie and his "son" was too old. If you go see this movie you will completely understand. It was full of "Oh, God's", "Oh, No's", and "What was that's". I just came back from a 2 week vacation and something told me to wait and not go see this movie. Did I listen to myself? No. I can only blame myself. Better than Hellboy......I think not and it did not even scratch the surface of Dark Night and I didn't think it was as good as it could have been. Mummies are better left in tombs or museums.......not the big screen.

Mmmmm, sexy! I felt it did the series justice. I want more, more, more! Does anyone remember Sarah Jessica Parker from her early days?? Not so hot; She is definitely hot now! Don't forget Mr. Big either. You should see this movie.

Cool Graphics

Graphics is about all that this movie has. It was not what I had anticipated. The kids will probably like it as will you. I love Brendan Fraser that's what drew me to it. He is not a Brad Pitt but he has that guy next door quality that makes him work. It was a goofy movie but the 3-D effects were cool. Go see it.

Long but good

I liked the movie...........I did not LOVE it.
I personally felt it ran a little too long for my tastes. There was alot that could have been left out. I felt, as odd as it was to watch Heath Ledger on the screen, Heath (rest in peace) did a phenomenal job with what he was given as a character and script. They popped the Joker in and out of the film too fast and too much. Maggie Gyllenhal is not one of my favorite actresses and she certainly did not shine in this film. While I do miss the kookyness of the old Batman movies and the old series I do understand the direction they are taking the cinema series in; darker. Anyone that reads my reviews knows I don't like "Oh, God, not that!" scenes there were a few of those. If you pay attention, while watching, you will pick up on major differences between this and the first movie. No, I'm not writing them here, I won't spoil any thing about this film. I only watch the movies so I can't comment on how close to the comic books or cartoons it comes, so I'll leave it at that. The movie was worth going to see, it had a lot going on, and it did keep my attention but it didn't seem to grab me in that "Wow" way. Go see it and decide for yourself. These are just my feelings.

Hell It Wasn't Bad!

It was not the best movie I've seen this year but not the worst. This movie will be a movie I watch again when it comes to TV; there was a ton of scenery to see and you couldn't see everything in every scene. This due to the fast moving pace of the film and action. Some very funny parts and some corny parts and of course some parts that just made me say they could have left it on the cutting room floor. Overall it was a good movie and most will enjoy it.

Pretty People Always Work!!

The stars are hot so it's worth going to watch just for that. Some of the scenes in this movie will no doubt make it to a MythBusters episode, i.e; throwing a curve shot or bullets hitting in mid-air. The action is packed and it definitely keeps you awake. Angelina Jolie movies are always fantastic anyway.

Too Bad!

The trailer is the movie. The best parts were put in the trailers. The rest of the movie was just filler. This coming from someone who likes Sandler. Wait until it comes to TV so you don't have to pay for it. LOL!
