Not Good Not Bad

If you really like Kevin James I would recommend this film, if not you know the rest of the answer. I like his comedy and while the movie had it's "Oh God!" moments it had it's funny ones too, although not as much as I wanted. The villans were not at all believable even for slapstick. Really just bad choices and weak performances. You really must like Kevin James and Adam Sandler, for that matter, since it was a Happy Madison production. You must go see this movie without your brain!!!!!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Eastwood Does It Again And Then Some!

I will be honest I went because my partner wanted to see this film. I had no real interest in seeing it; I figured it would be another "go ahead make my day movie." While there were some similarities, to that affect, it was not what I expected. The end completely blew me away! I never saw it coming. The movie as whole was well done and had some very funny moments in it. I highly recommend this film for 40 and above. 39 and below is a hit and miss. The closer you get to 30 years old and younger the more they'll get lost but I would still recommend, almost, all ages go see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Life in Reverse

I think at some point we all wonder what it would be like to grow in reverse. Imagine retiring from work in our 30's or 40's and enjoying it with a youthful body that keeps getting younger. It sounds great right? I'm really not so sure after seeing this movie; it puts all of that into perspective. This was a beautiful film that you must see, it runs the emotional gammit. We became lost in the 3 hour film until the ending which actually was a true ending not some thrown together "how-do-we-end-this-thing." Get away and get lost for awhile in his curious life.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Bug-eyed Guinea Pig Steals The Show

The kids will definitely enjoy this film, my nephew certainly did. The story was predictable, right to the ending. The trailers show some of the best parts of the movie and the ending strays into shear bordem. I personally did not care for the entire movie although some parts had a saving grace. The Guinea Pig was funny and a needed relief. I don't care for everthing Sandler does, it's a hit or miss with him, this was kind of inbetween. I would recommend taking the family to see this, as it is definitely for the kids.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Laughed and Cried

So the movie will make you cry.....it will also make you laugh! Although I could never have a dog like Marley, this dog would have gone through extensive obedience training at all costs, it was a cute movie. I felt good about it and when I arrived at home afterward I hugged both of my furbabies. Overall great movie for the sap in you. Again, be ready to laugh and cry.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Slow but Steady

The movie starts out rather slow but chugs along giving you little pieces of the puzzle. If you don't figure it out before the end, the story puts it all together for you. It was a good movie; for me- I didn't seem to connect with the characters the way I usually do with a movie like this. Normally I would have jerked a pretty good tear but this time I didn't. I still recommend seeing it though.

The Day The Film Stood Still

Wow! How excited was I.....were we all when the buzz about the film started? I couldn't wait! Now? I want my 2 hours back! They took an iconic film and remade it into "Iconic CRAP"! Leave it to the filmmakers to drop the ending like a stone wall.......I can't even say it had an ending, it just stopped. The CG and special effects were so bad it hurt my eyes. There were scenes during the movie where everything was shaking as if they were using a handheld camera and a tourist-I hate that new "realistic" kind of filming as if someone was doing it from home. The acting was poor and the story just plain lacked. If you loved the original you will not like this. Then again I am picky.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

A Quantum Leap

This movie was far better than Casino Royale! I am extremely pleased with the direction they took this film in, not only did it have action but they threw some comedy back into it. They even did better with "M", this time around. I love Daniel Craig as the new Bond, even though I was apprehensive at first. I really liked Pierce Brosnan but you don't always get the same bond actor. I can't wait to see the 2011 installment. Anywho, go see the movie.

Overall the movie was a fun movie. It had some pleasant surprises throughout the movie and there is definitely an underlying theme of tolerance and acceptance in it. Even though it was not fimed for my age category it was enjoyable.

High Price Paid

The movie was slow but good. I was happy to see justice served for what Ford did to Dr. Kearns. The price Kearns paid over the long run was much higher than what Ford paid him in the end. No amount of money can replace all of the years he struggled with fighting Ford but it certainly helped. I would definitely go see this movie if I were you.
