Rug Rats??

I swear the theme song sounded like the cartoon theme to the Rug Rats. Similar, although I am sure it was not the song. There are funny moments and not-so-funny moments, but unfortunately the ridiculous outweighed the funny. I will not go into what they were, if you saw it. you know what I am talking about. Definitely a "wait until it comes to cable" film. Kids will love it, though.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Reality Is Spot On.

This movie is a definite reality in this country, today. The Quasi Hells Angels on scooters was questionable but I didn't mind it's addition too much.....didn't quite understand the angle but it was in the movie and I don't really care. Hanks and Roberts were great as always. This is a great feel good movie for the summer. Go see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We've All Worked For One!

Who hasn't ever thought about how great it would be if they could get rid of their jacka** boss. Okay, so maybe not as extreme as this movie but then again.............;)
This movie is definitely a new spin on 9 to 5, instead of a complete remake copy. Spacey is incredible, he made us hate his character so bad. Colin Farrell was not who I thought he was the first time I began seeing the trailers. Hideously, fantastic makeover!!! Wow, to Jennifer Aniston! This movie was a definite nail biter. The laughs kept rollin' out and there was suspense to boot. You should not miss this film and make sure you have a few nails to loose!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

*******Warning: POSSIBLE INFO THAT COULD SPOIL THE ALREADY SPOILED MOVIE.********
Even though this film series pains me I keep going in the hopes that it will get better. My hopes are for the third time crushed. I did see a valiant yet overdone try at a story. As I just said overdone. The jokes injected at every turn, along with the sinister rich guy that sells out to the enemy, the extremely attractive girl friend that for some reason still loves the looser hero, jealousy, the good Autobot turned bad Autobot. Then there's the woman in charge character. I would hardly think there's a woman out there that would give orders to a robot the size of a 20 story building that's turned bad; oh and the robot not crush her. While sometimes I leave my brain at home and enjoy a purely bad heap of garbage, I mistakenly brought my brain along. Go see it but keep in mind you will be sorrounded by teens on the phone. :(~
Yes, I recommend this movie.

NOT A CHILDRENS MOVIE!

This movie was bad, in a mature bad way. The film is not going to garner any attention at the Academy Awards let's face it, but it had its moments. Was it stupid? Yes. Was it a movie to bring your young, under 16 year old, children to? Absolutely not! I was amazed at how many pre-10 year old children parents brought. I am of an older generation though. I would recommend people my age to go see it; the pettiness was funny. Warning: Do not bring your mind.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This Lantern Was Dimmly Lit!

I absolutely agree with many other reviews, this movie was way to cartoonish. I did not get it until I saw it. This was by far a great superhero movie and that is a darn shame; it could have been great. The acting was weak and almost childish. The story? What story?
I found myself wondering what happened to the fight scene in the end- way too easy. I was so excited to see one of my favorite comic book characters coming to the big screen and then sooo disappointed at the butchered up mess of a movie they produced. It had some redeeming points The CG was fantastic and Ryan Reynolds......always easy on the eyes but not the right choice. I did not like Blake Lively's character, I just found no connection at all. This is definitely a love it or hate it movie; I just hate when I love one part and hate a whole lot of other parts.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We Remember Those Cameras.

My partner and I went and we both enjoyed it although I enjoyed it more. He said he could take it or leave it. Even though we both agreed on certain points, I still got lost inside the fantasy of the film. Something I think all SciFi'ers dream of. The movie moves, sometimes it moves from point to point to fast and doesn't leave time to set up or explain. It was hard to connect with the characters. It had a lot of story lines running throughout, almost thought too many but I didn't mind so much. Give it a shot I think you'll like it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It was good don't get me wrong but did we really need "The Beginning". I felt the first X-Men movie was just perfect. I know this is fantasy but they always seem to stretch the previous mo vies when they decide to produce one that should have been tthe first. I will watch this again no doubt, so I would go see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This installment of the series is fair at best. Each film gets progressively worse. I could not stand Penelope Cruz in the role she played.......... My god who did the casting?? Fire them. I had much higher hopes for this movie. Wait for DVD or Pay Per View at home.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
