The title says it all, wait for it on DVD......or whatever the heck you want to watch it from. It was not a bad movie just not good enough to go see in the theaters for $10.00 per person plus Soda, popcorn, and candy. this was your run of the mill Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy movie.
It was OK at best, nothing to write home about. There were a lot of...."Oh God" moments, as I like to call them. You know, "Oh God did they just do that?" This movie was not what I had thought it was going to be by the previews so had I known better I would have stayed home.
I actually fell asleep during a movie for the first time ever! It was rushed, undeveloped, too many stories going on and when they all tied together my partner and I looked at each other and said, "That is not what I expected." Some of the tie ins just didn't work. It also didn't help that the lady behind us horse laughed at everything.......even someone walking into the scene. Good God, SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!!! It was not that funny! A very poor try at Love Actually. Waste of time and money.
I will never look at pie the same way, again! (without giving anything away) WHAT AN AWESOME MOVIE!! I went with my partner and his mother; I was not wanting to see this movie. I just figured I would wait until it came to TV. Am I glad I went? Absolutely! This movie used up every major emotion in my body: I laughed, cried, hated that one b***h, and just felt really good. This is a must see for anyone and I mean anyone that grew up pre 1980's. This movie should win an Academy Award, no doubt.
This movie was ok. I was disappointed from about the halfway point of this movie to the end. I really have nothing more to say about this movie except...... I love the old Planet of the Apes; sometimes the new out shine the old but this time I have to say it did not.
Once you see the movie you will understand the Review Title. It was fun and light hearted even though the premise is one, all to, well known to many of us. This movie actually has a moral to the story. Ryan Gosling was absolutely beautiful to behold. Kevin bacon is showing his age; still not bad though. The entire cast did a great job. Don't miss it.
Lots of action, not a lot of dialogue. They really did not waste an awful lot of time on the characters talking to each other, it was spotty at best. The aliens were awesome in design. Not the smartest, more advanced, alien race I've ever seen but then again they never are in Hollywood. It was good entertainment. Some perfectly done suspense, make you jump out of your seat, scenes. Daniel Craig is always great to watch......very easy on the eyes.
It was sad and incredible all at the same time. Loved the movie I was just sad to see the series end. This movie's end reminded me......like I said it reminded me.......of the final episode of Will and Grace. Not that it's bad but it was the first thing that came to mind. I would never recommend anything but a must see for Harry Potter films. Although I would not recommend young children see it.
Wow, I have to admit I went in thinking this was going to be not much of anything, but this movie was fantastic! Chris Evans brought an amount of realism to the character that made it very believable; he was in no way cartoonish. Hugo Weaving did not disappoint, either. I would see Captain America again, you should too!
