Spectacular re-launch of a storied franchise!

I haven't had this much fun at a SF movie since the first Star Wars movie! Yes, there ARE some pickable nits here and there, and no, this ISN'T better than Wrath of Khan, but brother, it's up there! To a person, the characters are fundamentally true to those we all know and love, even if some aspects are surprisingly different. The special effects are as good as any I've seen and better than any previous Trek movie hands down. This movie never drags, but at the same time never feels rushed. I unhesitatingly commend it to every Star Trek fan and anyone who loves SF and wants a unreservedly fun time at the movies!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
