Having no knowledge of this movie except for the first fake review posted here. I went to see this on opening night. A whopping 7 people showed up at the primetime showing. The first thing you will notice is why aren't the crew of a Russian sub not speaking Russian? They aren't even pretending to speak it...not even the trace of an accent. This is not Star Trek with universal transalators...without the occasional bottle of vodka or Russian flag you would not even know they were Russian. The story was ok, since is is supposed to be based on true events, although at the end the "true events" are all speculation. There was a good cast assembled which drew me to this show, but they were wasted by the lack of depth of story. Harris and Duchovny did the best they could but the movie was slow and predictable and the ending was melancholy and and silly and really showed the lack of a story. Some might like the ending but it was as if the director knew he had a stinker on his hands and had to throw in some Hollywood shock value. it would be as if in the Titanic when old Rose threw the necklace into the ocean at the end of the movie and as the jewel was sinking in the water, you saw Jack's bony skeletal hand reach up and grab it...don't waste your money!!!
