Character development was rushed. Typical and predictable Hollywood themes with a slight twist here and there. With that being said...I watched the movie in IMAX 3-D. The movie was visually stunning. I thought most of the special effects were brilliant. A couple effects have been done before. One of the more recent episodes of Falling Skies had a parasite effect that was almost identical to an effect in this movie. I was excited to see this film, but felt let down by the storyline.

Cons poor character development, storyline lacked a real theme

IMAX 3D is definately the way to see this movie. Visually, it is just amazing. The storyline is typical Disney. Humans are destroying their planet. White people are war-thirsty suckwads. Minorities are in touch with the planet and all wise. You get the point. Still...it is a great movie. Go see it!!!
