I was surprised that Sean Combs' lines were mostly black stereotypes. The movie had some great laughs. Brand is super hot. Totally not appropriate for anyone under 16. My 9 year old had my hand over her eyes a lot. Lots of sex, drugs, and female nudity.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It was a colorful movie. Slow moving and entirely predictable. My teen kids loved it. They loved making fun of Anne Hathaway's performance and Johnny Depp's makeup and Helena Bonham Carter's bulbous head. The extra money we paid for the IMAX 3-D wasn't worth it. The kids expected many superfluous items poking toward them and that didn't happen. I would say, save the money and let your friends tell you about it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
