This film surpasses any other in moviemaking technology! And because of that it truly was a remarkable movie-going experience I have ever had. Some moments in the story were indeed predictable but this whole new world called Pandora was so believable and its inhabitants were so real. I would have paid double to see this.
I don't particularly care for 3-D movies so I was expecting objects to be "flying out" of the screen onto the audience, but instead, it was the audience that was drawn into the scenes in the movie--I felt like I was there right next to the characters. You're a true genius, Mr. Cameron!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

If you go to the movies to be visually entertained, then 2012 is must-see. I think this is by far the most CGI-superior movie. I didn't even notice the 2.5 hour running time.

I really give this only 3 stars but seeing it in IMAX earned it an extra one. The script could have been better but I'm a big fan of sci-fi and special EFX so I thought it was worth my time. Best acting in this movie goes to Jaden Smith.
