I took my son to see this movie as surprise for his 14th birthday. It took me about 30-45 minutes to really start getting into the story line of the movie. Once I began to follow the plot it really kept me guessing about what was real and what was not and intrigued me right up until the end of the movie. Speaking about the way the movie ended I really felt it couldn't have been more perfect. We couldn't stop talking about the movie once it ended and it created the most amazing conversation throughout dinner. What a new an innovative idea which we both thoroughly enjoyed. A Definate Must See!
I was indeed skeptical of going to a theatre and sitting through this movie for such a lengthy time. It turned out that it was so intense and so colorful that it did entertain me and kept me glued to my seat. I am very excited that I did decided to see it in a theatre it would not nearly be the same seeing it at home on your television. Definately take the time and go and see it. It is worth the time and money to see it on the big screen with surround sound and crunch on some popcorn....!
My friend Tim and I have been waiting to see this Sherlock Holmes movie for months. We new that it would be good but it just so happened to be great! I thought sitting through it would be difficult but it kept both of our attention until the very last minute...!
I went to see this movie with a friend and we both were knocked over by how scary that this movie is. We anticipated that a typical Jim Carrey movie would be over the top but this went way over. With Jim usually bringing comedy to Disney films like in the Grinch there is very little of that type humor in this flm. It was great film for adults but I am glad that I didn't bring my children they would not have handled it well. They should've made this a PG 13 rating. The 3D effects were incredible but you need to watch it without the effects if you get motion sickness easily. It is very loud which is great if you can handle it.
I was really excited to see this movie with my 11 year old son and a good friend of mine but it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be. It was just another movie, just nothing special. We all left feeling a little disappointed.
I took my boys and a friend of mine to see this movie last Sunday morning. We have seen both of the movies without the 3D effects and loved them. We all thought they lacked any real 3D effects after seeing Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs which was loaded with them.
I took my son for his 11th birthday and his brother who is 13 and my friend. We had a blast! It was non-stop laughter and the 3-D viewing was definately the way to go! I highly recommend this movie for all ages it is definately worth the time and money!
If you are a Harry Potter fan this is another great movie! The difference that sets this movie aside from the last 5 Harry Potter movies is that it s a little darker than the others. I also feel that it is a lead up to the next movie because there were so many unanswered questions. It was hard to read some of the characters and the end of the movie is abrupt. Definately leaves you thinking.
I took a friend and my 10 and 12 year old boys to see this movie. Being a woman I really figured that I wouldn't enjoy this movie as much as 3 males would. I was really surprised! I walked out of the movie feeling completely happy with giving in and going to a movie I wasn't' real excited to see. I am so glad that I took the oppertunity to go. Not just for males after all!!!
I only went to this movie because my boys wanted to see it. It turns out that I really enjoyed the movie from start to finish...we all did! It had a great story line and even kept my 9 year old's attention. I think we may even go back to see it a 2nd time.
