Would I recommend this to a person who loves eating penne pasta and watches Merchant Ivory marathons at art houses? No.
Would I recommend this movie to a film lover who doesn't mind letting her/his inner 9-year old out to enjoy cinematic fun and excitement? Yes.
This film has more than just guilty cheese to offer. There are some very interesting craft moves that I've never seen before employed by the Warchowskis in this film. I grew up on anime and Asian cinema and I'm impressed that the Warchowskis have managed to pull off fusing the excitement of racing video games, the original Speed Racer animated show and the hypnotic atmosphere of a trance club all on to silver screen. Bravo!
