This is a good movie - not great, but really good. If there was a 4-1/2 stars I'd give it that. For super hero movie buffs like me, it is a really good movie. I really hope there is a sequel to take on the well-founded criticisms such as the seemingly amputated climax battle scene and the un-interesting love interest.
What we wanted, we got! The CG. GL could not have been made 20 years ago. This is what it's about, Thank you Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan for doing this one. You made it for me, ... other than RR being cast as GL - KILLER cast job!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Kevin James performance in this movie was most convincing. The love interest story tension brought on by Jayma Mays- though fairy tale at the end - was accessible as any. The good guy/bad guy twist played by Keir O'Donnell was classic though fresh. I was even digging the story line of the overly aggressive good guy/underhanded bad guy, Stephen Rannazzisi. But the most scene stealing work had to be that darling daughter played by Raini Rodriguez. She was understated yet her heart came through like a punch in the stomach. She has 'Actress' written all over her. Good call Adam Sandler!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
