You'll want to jump up and sing!

This movie makes you want to jump up, grab a pretend microphone and sing and dance along with them. It is so much fun just watching all the characters have so much fun - getting silly - dancing on tables - jumping in the water - and singing their hearts out - all when they are troubled and don't know what to do. If only real life could be that way - it would be so cathartic! It would be hard for anyone NOT to like this movie. On a side note-to be totally honest-I don't particularly love the moral storyline of this movie-especially for my teen daughters. We're basically cheering on a woman who not only can't determine who her daughter's father is - having slept with three different men during the same time period. But she also never bothered to find out - depriving both her daughter of a father and a father of his right to know he has a child. Not a great message but no one really cared anyway. The music and fun makes you overlook the message of the story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
