A little slow in the middle, I thought, but overall as entertaining as all the other Madagascar movies. Plus the Circus Afro song that is guaranteed to play in your head for the rest of the day!
Pros well paced, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

So much fun! There were a couple of times when I thought the battle scenes went on a little too long, but for the most part once the action started I was totally caught up in it. Rihanna was surprisingly good (loved her character), the story was great, and they brought the board game into it several times in a clever and subtle tongue-in-cheek manner.
We'll probably go see it again in the theater, and we'll definitely own a copy once it comes out. This will be one we watch regularly.
Pros great story, lots of stuff blows up!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Like the best of Looney Tunes, there are so many jokes in the background that we'll definitely stream or rent this on DVD so we can pause it and make sure we see everything. I thought the story was only so-so, but the actors are great and the animation was first rate.
Pros great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good, but…

Moneyball was good but a little slow, mostly because we spend SO much time watching Brad Pitt react to things. I've read that if there are too many close ups of the star, that means the director is in love with them. I guess it could also mean that the star is the producer.
Other than that, it was good. We're baseball fans and found it interesting, but I believe people who aren't fans will enjoy it, too. Great scene (and metaphor) at the end, when Jeremy Brown hits a home run.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good for adults and kids

Like the best of the old cartoons, Despicable Me had humor only adults would get ("The Bank of Evil, formerly Lehman Brothers") while still being appropriate and entertaining for kids. Great fun!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
