Slumdog Millionaire is stunningly beautiful, horrifying and uplifting all at the same time. Visually, it's extremely intense with some of the best art direction and editing I've seen in many years. You feel yourself in the midst of Mumbai -both suffocated and embraced by the characters' endless struggle to survive. The artifice of the TV game show works beautifully - tossing the viewer back and forth between deliverance and impending tragedy. Wow!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
