Jumped the Shark Already

Perhaps I was hoping for something better after being blown away by the original. If they had waited maybe another year to write a decent storyline this might have been worth seeing.
The jokes were very similar to the last movie. Instead of being quirky as he was in the last movie, the Galifianakis character was just plain annoying.
It didn't matter, they laughed all the way to the bank this weekend...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

From Someone New to the Story

I thought the movie was ok. It dragged initially in an attempt to develop the characters. I would have liked to see more done to investigate the deaths occurring in the town.
The special effects were good. I can see by the way the movie ended it lends itself to multiple sequels.
I really think this would probably be better if it were adpated for a television series.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Performance by Cheadle

Once again Don Cheadle proves he is probably the best actor of his generation.
Unlike Denzel Washington, he doesn't play a version of the same bland character in each movie.
He is convincing in this project and makes you care about the story and his role. There are no wasted scenes, in my opinion.
I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

I thought the movie was pretty good. I could have done without the extended full frontal nudity. The story was plausible, I've known people like this in college. Kind of the next logical step after "Superbad".
Don't take the kids, unless you want to do a lot of explaining.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
