Great Movie

While I was somewhat disappointed that the movie diverged from the book in key places, I was not disappointed with the movie itself. I thought the movie did a great job of conveying the intensity of the final battle and was an excellent ending to the series.

Big Improvement Over New Moon

My wife and 13 year old daughter are big fans of both the books and the movies. I struggled reading the books, simply because it was difficult to relate. However, I have enjoyed watching all of the movies with them...and we all thought Eclipse was a huge improvement over New Moon.
There were some slow parts, but they injected a little more humor into this movie which helped tremendously. My only real issue was how Jacob's desire for Bella was portrayed. It was a little too "stalker-ish"...she should have smacked him with a restraining order, rather than a kiss.
Overall, we enjoyed the movie and look forward to the finale.

It's crude, rude, and socially unacceptable. That's why we loved this movie. Looking for Oscars? Shop elsewhere. Looking for a good laugh...then you're at the right place. Leave the kiddies at home though.
