Huge Disappointment

My husband and I were EXTREMELY disappointed in this movie. After seeing the trailer and how majestic and strong the angels appeared we were really looking forward to a great action packed movie with some sort of accurate biblical references. What we got instead was second rate acting, boring predictable action scenes and terrible directing. Some things in the movie just don't make sense like why was the baby they were trying to save so important to mankind? This movie had wonderful potention it just didn't deliver.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was spectacular! Visually stunning and beautifully scripted and acted! The only way I can describe it is WOW!!! Its a must see for 2009!! Don't miss it!

Horrible

This movie was pretty bad. Story line doesn't really add up or make sense, the acting is "okay" but the script is so choppy...... none of the characters are fully developed or allowed the time on screen for you to feel any connection to them or understanding why they are the way they are. I don't really know what else to say except wait for it to go to video.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

AWESOME FAMILY MOVIE!!!

This was such a beautiful family movie! My entire family went, including my grandmother. It was funny, touching and an absolute delight to see. It is a rare thing these days to see a family movie with humor that is clean and still makes you laugh and smile. This is a definite must see! Pixar did it again! When the movie starts off you can't imagine that its going to be as good as it is - then when "EVE" is added to the picture the entire dynamic of the movie changes. She adds another dimension to the movie. Even the roach in the movie is adorable!

This movie was well worth the wait. The graphics, special effects and costumes were visually stunning! The first 15 minutes or so was a little slow but it picked up quickly. Definitley recommend it!

Pretty Entertaining

I was a little skeptical about seeing this movie after seeing the mixed reviews. It was not a bad movie at all. I don't think its the hit of the summer or Will Smith's best movie BUT it was entertaining. Usually you know the twists and turns that happen in certain movies but his one really surprised me. There were some scenes that were pretty silly but for the most part it was entertaining. I didn't leave the theatre wishing I hadn't gone to this movie. The special effects were good and Will's portrayal of Hancock was very believable....so much so that sometimes it was disturbing. I loved Charlize Theron and Jason Batemans roles in the movie.

My personal opinion of the movie is that the first hour was touch and go. A lot of boring conversations and filler material. The last hour of the movie was FANTASTIC. The battle scenes were incredible. It was a good family movie and the costumes and Narnians were pretty incredible. It was a bit long and I felt that a lot could have been cut from the first hour to make the move "flow" better. It is visually stunning to watch but some of the material during the first hour was really lackluster and a bit boring to get through.

The fight scenes were really good. The acting was standard Jackie Chan/Jet Li. If you take Kung Fu or know anything about martial arts, you will really enjoy seeing the forms they use in the film. The talent in the fight scenes is incredible. The story line is "okay" - typical Hollywood bad guys picking on the weak guy thing. That part of the story line could have been kept out but the way everything ties together makes the movie enjoyable.
