Completely implausible, after a few minutes it becomes silly..then annoying..then insulting. Freeman and Caine were just putting in the motions in order to get a paycheck .
If you have an IQ higher than a snail's I recommend you save your $$

i did'nt tell my wife this was a black and white, silent movie when I booked the tickets. I saw her eyes roll up in her head when the titles started and she realized what it was. At the end of the movie she told me it was easily the best movie she has seen all year and I have to agree with her. Highly recommended, a very cleverly told story that will make you laugh and cry.

useful if you are studying basic art history of the early 20th C. otherwise stay away from this train wreck..embarassing cameo performances..silly good guy/ bad fiancee plot... just awful...travelogue pictures of paris do not make a good movie

how many times have you seen this formula..lonely ruthless assassin finds out he has a soft spot for smoking hot chick. clooneys performance is wooden..he is a one dimensional actor out of his depth..if you like laborious shots of a guy walking up and odwn stairs in an italian village this is for you.. otherwise save your $$$
